Short days
Long nights
Leaves brown
Gloves on
Nip in the air
I feel; I care.

you guys suck here's mine its kinda long:
Twas the day of thanks and all through the kitchen,
every hand was stirring now you sit there and listen,
Everyone was set for a night of elation,
the table was set with fall decoration,
I a small mouse had just discovered their house,
i saw the mess coming with sauce and a blouse,
I flew to my hole in expectation,
"oh no" screamed the cooks with voice fluxuation.
There dinner was ruined thanksgiving food was gone
the guests started arriving and not before long,
the cooks realized thanksgiving meant more than the food they ate,
thanksgiving depended all on fate.

nice heres mine
On thanksgiving i waited to eat the food
I sat there waiting and began to brood
On what was the point of eating turkey
Why not chicken, fish or perhaps beef jerky?
Do these not taste good? Are they not in season?
Oh do please tell me the reason!
When the food at last came into my mouth
I knew the answer! Turkey's don't fly south!
